This is just the best record. Kind like a cross between Henry Cow and James Chance. Intensely complicated music that is completely dancable (as I did in 1983 in the Reed College SU). Thanks to Henry and thanks to Fred (An amazing talent off to the land where it is always summer).

Had to have this as I was in attendance that evening and many others during the summer and fall of '79. On any given night you'd hear a mix of originals and covers of The Mothers, Henry Cow, Matching Mole, King Crimson and even an Earle Brown graphic score.

I got to see Face Ditch circa 1982 at Reed College. One of the finest concerts I've ever attended. Completely awesome show. All Fall Down has a lot of the same material and is a very cool recording.
